Porthole found at Radio swapmeet

Look what I found at the meet in Lansing, MI.
A 1950 Zenith Tabletop 12" TV in un-restored condition, Even has all it's knobs! Including the ones behind the flip down door. At the meet the set was sitting on the ground being used as a stand to hold a box of radio knobs. As I was approaching it at a slow gallop (Didn't want to sprint that would be to obvious) I saw several people walk by and not even give it a second look. When I saw the price tag of $75.00 I couldn't get the money out of my pocket fast enough. I bought the set took it home and gave it the usual complete re-capp, Also had to replace a few power resistors including an open 8200 ohm/2watt that was holding the audio down. Only 2 tubes were missing when I bought it, a 6AG7 and a 19BG6. Every tube on the chassis tested good but the CRT is on the weak side. I'm glad to have this set as a companion to my restored console version of this TV (See photo) I'll bet these 2 sets were never under the same roof in 1950 unless it was a Dealers showroom.
