Found an RCA console model K60

I found this small RCA console at a garage sale tonight. I gave $20.00 for it. It is in very good condition with only a few scratches here and there. It looks all original except the cord. It has a movable Magic antenna in the base. It appears to be from around 1939 to 1941. The tubes are octal base which surprised me for a radio this old. I know it will need a recap. It has 6 tubes which seems like a small amount for a console. Are these decent performers when they are working right? I like the fact that it doesnt take up too much space.
