A CT-100 could have been a candidate for portability w/it's 15" pic & all...But I guess in '54 they were happy the damn thing WORKED, much less being able to tote it around. Come to think of it, the earliest sets-if you discount the 7" models of the late '40s, the earliest really portable TVs I recall were the 8" RCAs of '56 or so. Didn't Emerson also have a TV/AM radio that was portable around then as well? -Sandy G.
