Philco radio help

Thanks Sandy, I will be back to bother you "old timers" with questions when I get to this project. I may not be very old myself, but my nick name is "old man" Graham.
I have my hands full with school and speaker projects at the moment. In fact I have been cutting MDF all day and it is about time to start my homework. School is sooo much better than working for a living though.
