Band Switch on TO H500

I pulled my Transoceanic out of storage last weekend. Haven't fired it up for probably 20 years and it still works fine but while de-oxing the band switches Some of them suddenly quit latching in the "in" position. The bottom switch does not latch, the next two going up do latch and then the ones above do not latch either. With the chassis out I see there is a latch mechanism that slides up and down to release and latch the different buttons, but looks like it might be a pain to disassemble and check it out. Should I just pick up a parts chassis and swap out the whole assembly?

By the way it's all original except for the tubes. I was delighted to find that I had one of each spare tubes clipped in the spare tube clip including a 1L6.

A gentleman back in 1975 or 76 gave this to me, or I bought it at low cost. He was the original owner and was a retired musician who played cruise ships all of his life. So it really was a Transoceanic in every sense of the word. Great condition too! I would like to keep it as original as possible for nostalgia's sake. I might buy another one all tarted up with new caps, etc. for everyday use and just keep this original. I would like to fix the band switches though.
