Is the case worth more than the TV?

I purchased the same TV on Ebay about 5 weeks ago. It was a pickup only here in Long Island, NY. I paid $33.00! The CRT tested good.

If the TV was working with the original box, it still wouldn't be worth anywhere near this amount.

This looks like some kind of joke or game.

Maybe the seller has 10 complete ones in his basement and plans to sell them at a higher price by driving up the value.
