Magnavox solid state 1979- Goodwill or...?

Hello TV folks...

I discovered a older TV in my girlfriends garage. It was put away when it was broken and I am trying to decide if I should hall it to the goodwill, or keep it and ix it. Or maybe pull parts from it and keep them. It is solid state (no vacuum tubes).

It is a big wood type (fake wood?). The channel selection is from keyboard that is not flush with the set, but sticks out at an angle. The screen is large - 27" maybe????

Text on the rear of the set says:

Serial # 1546998
Meets Standards and safety act of 1968
Manufactured date - Aug 1979
T815-05
TC15-16
Final Unit Number: RK5036
I could not find a model number.

Shall I just hall if off to the goodwill? Any boards inside I should keep for others here working on this type of set? Any reason that this TV might stand out as a keeper?

Thanks for the advice.
