RCA dumpster find
I was at the dump the other evening getting rid of some limbs. Normally only burnable stuff is allowed to be dumped but they have two dumpters there for other stuff. I took a look in one of them and saw something that looked like a vintage radio. I get it out and its an RCA am/fm table radio model#1-XF-3K. It is in good shape aside from a crack on top by the handle. It has 7 tubes. It will need recapped and the selinium replaced. It should work after that. The cord has been cut off. It has a hand wired chassis not printed circuit board.
