How critical are these cap values (RCA T-100)?

There are two paper caps left in my RCA T-100, C164 (.018) and C165 (.039), both rated 1000V.

Not having those exact values, the best I can do with parts on hand is to wire two 600V caps in series: .047 + .047 = .0235 for the .018, and .1 + .1 = .05 for the .039.

OK? Or should I cool my jets and wait for exact parts to arrive in the mail?

The HV supply is making 8KV, not 9KV as specified.

Phil
