Emerson 920 FM Only

Usually at the beginning of the semester, my school's labs get rid of old equipment and supplies by piling them up in the hallways, where they sit for a while until somebody makes them disappear.
I saw this little Emerson sitting out there about a month ago with a paper on it that said "trash". I sure couldn't let it meet that fate.

It wasn't until I looked at it closer that is noticed it is an FM only radio. This is the first FM only tube radio I've owned. (I used to have this interesting little Sony transistor FM only radio, you pushed a button on top and it automatically tuned to the next station).

The cabinet is a little beat up, but eventually I'll try to clean it up and see how well it plays. It looks like the tuning knob is missing an insert.
The tuner has some sort of reduction system so the dial scale turns slower than the knob. I was surprised to see a steel chassis instead of a PC board.
