Thanks for the update. I only had 600v black wire when I started working on TVs in earnest. I ended up ordering a rainbow assortment from radiodaze.

I'm surprised you found so many bad tubes. Are they total dead or weak ?

Early RCA sets used some pretty hefty dividers/bleeders. Check out this one from Phil's site: http://www.antiqueradio.org/art/RCA630TS18.jpg
