Another UK prewar set reaches high price

This rather tatty looking table model reached GBP5300, about $8000. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=120624685885 A set in excellent restored condition went for GBP5000 about 6 months ago and a similar set, demonstrated working at the MBL auction and supplied with an Aurora made just under GBP5000.

Not in the same league as the 702 recently sold to Yagosaga for a German museum but still a high price.

Any ideas on who it came from and where it went?
