Living room square footage must have been cheap (and plentiful) back then. This cabinet is very similar in design and probably size as well to the Monticello I picked up last week. Apparently this tuning knob is a high failure part as mine is cracked where it fits over the tuner shaft too. A loose fit but it does the job for now.
I read with interest the reference to “waking up” the CRT. Is there a thread covering this subject? I would like to know more about the process.
