1950 Zenith and his long trip to europe

Zenith-TV-set - a donation from Manhattan!
AT FIRST: I need the service manual and the missing antenna-fine adjusting knob with axle!
Thanks in advance.
Every TV has it`s own story, but just TV-sets from any dealers and swap meets lost their line
of pre-owners.
However, unusual is this story of this Zenith TV-set I just bought from Kopenhagen/Denmark.
I ignored the set for about 5 years, the time since I know the dealer, bought from him
many old denish TVs, but decide now to own a TV with the companies first letter „Z“.
But he owned the TV much longer, said that vintage TVs are keepers.
He had to keep them, because nobody wanted them.
Denmark has no remarkable collector scene, no radio club, and their TV program is so bad, that
there is no reason to own and restore vintage TV-sets.
The price for the set was low, about 300,- US$. This shows us, that the set was not a last years
Ebay-shot. Buying and shipping of a porthole for only 300,-US$ is impossible, just when you earn money with it.
In Germany US-troops got service for their TV-sets from german repairman, the german Funkschau
displayed in the late 50s an article of a german TV-repairman how to change US-sets to the CCIR standard.
Also how to change back when the soldiers return to the states.
But from the german collector szene I know only one 21“ console which stayed/survived in
Germany!
Denmark, which started local with television in 1952 had no US-troops, this means the set has to be
a private single import set.
The box of Pandora was opened as I opened the back and saw 2 crisp papers!
See appendix!
The contense is that the address of the donating family and the phone number of the receiver is given.

This TV was in working condition when jacked. I did cut the
mine as it was completely ___ out.
Do not use without the transformer, it is for 110 AC.

(PLEASE CORRECT THE UNDERLINED SENTENCE)

What a present for the denish family, but did they used it ever?
I don`t think so.
Their is a new Euro-mains plug mounted, marked that it is only
110 Volts, but their are no changes inside visible.
Horizontal and vertical adjustment needs mostly changed value caps/resistors.
But the set is untouched and closeby 100% clean.
2 screws at the channel selector are missing.
It seems that is was one of the presents where you find out, that it is useless.
The average TV repairman is unable to sweep a TV without schematic, just because
IF-transformers needing other caps often, too.
After re-caping I shall see whats on with it.

Best regards,

The TV-collector

P.S. Go on Google streetview and write: 44 East 92 Street New York
Then you can see an old building with the flower shop, the ex-home of the set.
