To preform proper convergence on a TV you need to obtain a dot/crosshatch pattern generator or obtain/burn a test pattern DVD with those patterns and a green field(if your doing convergence you should probably do the purity adjustment too). Some prefer to converge with dots, some with a crosshatch grid(which I prefer). If your computer monitor and TV both use inline gun type color CRT's then the convergence procedures are likely the same, and you can use what you learned on the monitor on the TV.
Getting a copy of the Sam's Photofact service data for the set might also help as they usually outline the convergence procedure.
