Flickering '87 Trinitron

It has done this seemingly at random since I got it, but I have since found out it is probably caused by power fluctuations. I was running the dishwasher while watching a movie the other day and noticed that the flickering, a white horizontal line at random places on the screen, would happen when the dishwasher would switch to different cycles. I'm wondering what's going on inside the set that might be contributing to this.
