Sylvania Color television with dvd/vcr

Hi My Sylvania color 20 inch television vcr and dvd player quit working . First was the vcr then the dvd player . How can I fix the vcr and dvd player in it . I would like it to work again . I think the laser maybe dirty in the dvd player , but the vhs player Im unsure about . When I load a tape the television shuts off . Im told somewhere on the internet that some of the switches are dirty and need cleaning in them . I can spray some contact cleaner in them if there dirty and see where im at . I wouldn't know there to fine a schematic for that set Its not made by Sylvania I thing funai made it . So How do I find the chassis number for the television schematic . That would I look at for the vcr to find the fault for it shuting off when it loads a tape in it .
