SOny KV40XBR800 ERROR CODES HELP

Would the MCZ3001D chips being bad cause error codes in the service mode 4, 6 , 7 , and the set still will power on but sometimes its color on th white looks off . can these chips affect the convergence on it . for some reason it seems like its off . My speakers are shielded for placement next to a CRT television there Jamo cornets 70v . and center speaker is also for placement next to CRT TELEVISION . So what would cause those codes . But I only get a 7 blink on the standby light after she shuts down for error . I was told the SONY MCZ3001 chips cause all sorts of problems and was also told to change the flyback transformer from a member on this forum too . How would you check the flyback transformer on this set to see if its getting weak . I wouldn't have anything to test it out with . Should I find a good tech that can test it for is and if found out its weak change it along with the flyback transformer . I can get my D-board rebuilt by TRI STATE ELECTRONICS IN Indiana .I don't know if they can rebuild it still . I sent them a email today If I go that route . will They replace the flyback transformer or test it to see if its any good . what will they do .Oh I just did the service menu tonight I couldn't get into if for some reason that's why Im posting this problem again . P.S I dont know the best route to go on fixing it , the tech told me that he was only going to charge me 80.00 to install the new chips and not do anything else .So I don't think I want to hire him .
