On the topic of this vintage RCA, I thought that it might be worth mentioning that some if not all of the electrolytic capacitors are NOT grounded to the chassis. It has been several years since I did my 8T-243 and the TC-127, so I can't remember the details, but I specifically remember the cap that is mounted under the chassis on a removable flange is this way. Seems like it was a two or three section.

I wish that I had a more in depth electronic explanation for this, but I'm sure one of our bigtime experts will be able to elaborate. I do know that you would have a big mess if you grounded them to the chassis.
