Good Policy! It just plain hurts me to dump post 1988, USA-made working sets that I "rescue". Nobody wants a "cabinet set" anymore.
I keep getting them due to my work-on-anything reputation: I get a call from someone with "an old tv" and I cannot ask too many questions, just go and look only to find something much newer than imagined. Usually I end up taking it just because I don't want to miss that rare call for the real antique set.

Within a week, I got a 1980 Zenith, 1984 Zenith and 1986 Zenith, all great-working 19" color sets and then gave them all away.
