Been offered a free Quasar.....

Normally I don't consider stuff this new for myself, but this is kind of a neat set....perhaps someone can enlighten me on it

This is the message I got:

"Tim, we have a Quasar Console TV, model WU9428YP, with manual, the date on the back says 1985.. It has been in our garage since at least 2000, when my husbands grandmother died.. Not sure if it works.. But you are welcome to it, if you would like it... "
