Cheapest "full size" color set you could buy think dates to about 1970, trying to use up the stockpile of round CRT, can you imagine that a STOCKPILE of rounde color crts.

The lowest priced roundie, Philco color set, came out in late 1967, as a '68 model. It was a gray-painted metal table model cabinet.
IIRC, there were optional metal screw-in legs, like the other makes. I don't think, they made them more than a year or two.
Curtis-Mathes made a low end model roundie at the same time.
The chassis was a knock-off of the RCA CTC-20.
Then, of course, there was Muntz!
