ID an Interesting cabinet at a local thrift
Last time I was at one of the thrifts I frequent there was a gutted TV cabinet (save for the 3 speakers). It looked to be early postwar, it had a mechanism where a box that looked to be the right size for a 16-20" CRT would rotate the CRT from facing up to facing forward. The cabinet was about as wide as a roundy color set, symmetrical with oval shaped speaker grilles on either side at the bottom.
There were no makers marks anywhere that I could easily reach, and I would like to know what it was. Also it was only 15$ so if it is rare enough that someone would want a cabinet to repopulate I could buy it to pass it along to a caring home.
