General Electric roundie - fixed itself?

I remember the GE sets at a local appliance store I used to haunt. Never had the chance to work on one of their large color sets, but I do have a couple of Porta-Color sets. Yours looks really good ! I'm wondering if GE ever used an RCA clone chassis, seeing how they used some different circuitry, especially the crystal ringing circuit for the chroma phase reference instead of an oscillator. Works very well in my portables.
