Other important relay specs contact voltage/current rating number of throws and poles in the contacts. A SPST won't replace a DPDT relay. Too little contact voltage or current rating could mean contacts burning up, arcing shorting etc.

Aside from that mechanical mount specs can matter...Though usually can be worked around and are less significant than coil and contact specs.
