Should be easy to fix. There is NO reason to recap it. Start with the
" dead set" problem. Its a remote & the tuner has an OFF channel on it. If its stopped there it wont work. Open the door & manually change channels to see if it comes on. There are instructions in there also. After that it can be walked through easily. It was a great set. When we got the first batch I watched it 5 mn then stuck it in my car to take it home. Ran for years no problem. 73 Zeno  LFOD !
