As a matter of fact I already do
 You're right about the CRT. The RCA & Emerson both use the 8DP4. I also have one of the 8" RCA sets but after what I've read they are a nitemare to service. It's on the way back burner for now but from what I remember it had a bright raster so if the Emerson CRT doesn't pan out......hmmmmm
