Panasonic Omnivision PV-M2037
Rather mundane question for you TV mavens, but...
I have a Panasonic Omnivision TV/VCR combo, PV-M2037, that we used to use as one of our main sets, but I had not powered it up in several years. Yesterday, when I plugged it in and turned it on, it started autoscanning for OTA stations, and now when I press the channel up/down arrows on the front of the cabinet, it will only tune to Channel 60 or "line in." It will still receive stations via a DTV converter box and antenna, but picture is unwatchable, too snowy. It probably needs to be set on channel 2 or 3, to get a clear picture, but I don't know how to do this without the TV remote, which I don't have. If I keep it, is it worth investing in a universal remote, will that help? Thanks in advance!
