Peter Yancers scanning disc setup

Is there anyone who remembers Peter Yanczer's scanning disc setup (camera & receiver)? I had a receiver he built years ago and got back in touch with Peter but unfortunately at that moment he was losing it completely mentally. I thought he was still making stuff and didn't know he was very sick but he promised to make one but he went down quickly and almost didn't get my receiver back.

I never got a "camera" from him as he couldn't do anything anymore and passed away soon after that.

Is there anyone out there that could build a camera to match what I have?
