Radio stations announcing song title/artist?

I know sometimes on morning shows I will hear the DJ/host of morning shows telling what song is coming up or maybe the preceding song if they're coming back from a break.

It seems to me that these days it's less common though since many stations are entirely automated and there may not even be an actual DJ present at certain times of day.

One station in my listening area has a female-sounding robotic voice that announces the singer and song title after each song ends. It's the only station that does that.

I also believe that these syndicated shows like the John Tesh Radio Show or Delilah that stations will often play in the evening hours have their own playlists. It may well be that segments of these shows are even pre recorded and just have segments swapped in and out and used over again in the future.

I have noticed that even on stations that show title/artist info via RDS, that this information does not show up during these syndicated sessions.
