If the green is at it's max contrast, back off on red and blue a little. Roundies were never that bright, and you couldn't watch TV on a sunny day unless you drew down the shades.

I thinkk you're confusing the brightness contribution of the three primaries with the beam current balance required. The R,G, and B beam currents are much closer to equal than the brightness contributions would imply.
