I picked up a Columbia

Hi, I picked up a Columbia Transistor Radio last week. I can get AM and FM... but just like my little JVC Boombox, nothing comes in on SW. I'm sure it would work if I could get some damn reception.

It's very dirty and the antenna is busted... but I'm still able to extend it. I'd clean it but I don't know what I should use and I don't know what I could do about the antenna.
