The $10,000 Radio

Here's one for the books!

How can a fairly ordinary 3-dialer from the 1920s become known as "the $10,000 radio"? Check out the story at http://www.njarc.org/10000radio.htm.

This story was picked up by several New Jersey newspapers and CBS Television sent a news crew from New York the other day to cover the story for the 11 o'clock news!
