Were any of those ever even released for sale? My feeble mind is telling me they were experimental purposes only...Do we know if any have even survived?

There were at least two models--a tabletop and a console--offered by Westinghouse in 1957. Our own Charles K. Halbert has posted about one he had once upon a time and how its performance left much to be desired.
Among other attributes, it's a series-strung set with one blade of the AC plug tied right to the chassis.  ETF database confirms the survival of one, possibly another.
