There are so many prewar sets on the bay that I did not realize how many they are
There are about 500 prewar sets total (1/2 U.S. and 1/2 other) as listed on the ETF site. Considering collectors that have prewar sets have multiple prewar tvs, i.e. ETF museum has 47 prewar sets, there really aren't many to go around. Also the RCA Prewar Sets appeal to Art Deco and World's Fair collectors.
