I love old European radios too. Do you have any pics? I think if it has speaker sockets that look like 1 round and 1 flat connector it is for 4 to 8 ohms. I have a Philips b5x94a that use 3 pins in a Y shape for the aux speakers which are 800 ohms. hope i never need a replacement speaker for that one. Logan
