Indeed. That chassis is a 1930s radio. See the perforated shield can with the grid cap hole? I also question the pressboard back cover...

Outerlimits TV monitor
Not quite a TV but interesting premise. An alien planet sells OBIT monitors to the US government. No one knows who ordered them or why. The machines arrive at military installations with instructions to watch everyone to find subersive individuals. Each channel tunes to an individual. The guy watching thinks his wife is having an affair but cann't see the guy on the machine. It breaks the rules and adjusts the machine to tune in the guys frequency and see who it is. He sees an alien on the screen. Watching is addictive to encourage the watching and monitors are scheduled to be delivered to schools and libraries.

Yeah, the TV has a round CRT, but the front of the set appear to be of a rectangular model.
That's really confusing. What I found really funny is that one of them is assembling the rooftop antena inside the house.
