Mine is a daily watcher. I've been using it as my main set since i recapped it in june. I havent replaced the selenium rectifiers yet, so I dont leave it plugged in when I'm not around. It was actually playing when i walked into the Antique shop in Columbus, black beauty caps and all. I have the diodes sitting on my bench, but I dont feel like lugging the set from the second floor to the basement just to solder them in. The one thing i have done is screwed a couple of 120mm PC case fans to the metal back and shoehorned in a small 12v power supply, to keep the set cool. I dont have the safety glass attached to the set in this picture, as it has a large gouge dead center of the screen that i cant stand looking at. Does anyone have a parts set with a good safety glass they would be willing to sell?
