Was this in a climate controlled storage barn? Here in Texas(at least the eastern 1/2), the heat and and especially the humidity would have very detrimental effects on something like that was stored for any length of time in a non-climate controlled area.
I picked up a Hoffman from the Houston area that had been in someones house, not a barn, It had mold damage on the finish in some areas. This is a very fortunate save!!!. |

Yes,
Temperature controlled storage. The storage barn was built 10 years ago, Not sure how it was stored before that. The chassis only has a few spots of mild surface corrosion and is extremely clean underneath. A well kept set over the years for sure. |

Blonde
Jim,
Here is the Blonde version of that set Steve D mentioned. Unfortunately, it is a faux finish on a masonite like substrate, and a lot of mine has flaked off. Not sure how I will recover. That is a GREAT 2nd generation color TV (maybe 3rd?). Anyway you slice it, it is a rare beastie.
