I had a similar model as a kid. The cabinet was in rough shape, and the radio needed a complete recapping. But, being a kid with a 25 cent weekly allowance, and with pop bottles found along the roadsides fetching only 3 cents at the corner store, I was more intent on saving up the 2 bucks for a 6L6GC than recapping an old radio, so it made a good source of other parts to play with.

Thanks for showing a walk down memory lane for me.
