If you've got a roll of HV wire, I'd replace those leads to the tubes, if at all possible - they look shot.

I once resurrected a flyback where the HV lead had broken off - I peeled back the wax coating, found the *tiny* HV wire, soldered a new wire on, and melted new beeswax around to seal it up, and it worked great. It's very tricky to do this, though.

I don't get why they coated these things with beeswax for so long, I've got a Setchell Carlson that's got an epoxy coating around the flyback's HV winding, and it's stayed in good shape. Beeswax, no matter what, melts and looks bad after a while.

That tranny looks a bit beat, but it might still work. It's not going to explode on you, but it might spark a bit if it dies...
