Braun RC-61-D in the house
My landlord just dropped this unit off and wants me to go through it, I can't find much info on the net about it and was hopeing some one on here might shed some more light on it. It does play and sounds good but I told him before he plays it alot it needs a recap and deoxing at the least, he is going to refinish the cabnet on it when I have it apart too.
Thanks Steven A. |

This website link is all things Braun and should have something of help-
http://www.radiodesign.de/ check out the fifth link up from the bottom of the menu that should appear on the left side of your screen. It says Rad.-Pho.komb You can use a site such as babelfish to translate. I think one of the coolest aspects of the Braun radios is their design was about ten years ahead of the times. If you look at that radio you think that style looks mid sixties but the tuning eye is the tip off of its true mid fifties error. I have TS1 in need of restoration. They have very high quality Isophon speakers. |

Yes, Jeff,
braun´s design was ahead in those days. And they where the first company selling just black units... others came later and ended the silver-face-aera. But other companys had consoles in the "scandinavic design" in ´57, too. They also look as if built ten to twenty years later. |

About all I realy need is a schematic and parts list so I can recap it and check voltadges, as stated it does play so there are not any major repairs.
