Always happy to help, but, on a number of sets, including one 1950 16" RCA I have that I am just finnishing, the circuitry makes up for the pho finnish on the doors, especially if the cabinet is in decent restorable condition....
The 6T74 RCA was a good performer. Just a chinsey cabinet, even though quite handsome looking.
