In Bucharest, a guy spotted an old black and white Romanian tv (probably, it was an "Electronica" V.S. 43-611, the 1st Romanian tv, made with French components), but didn't pick it up. The next day he saw the C.R.T. broken and some blood around. I'm not a mean person, but the tv took it's tool. Shees, and the V.S. 43-611 are very rare sets I had seen only one in my life (it's in a museum).

I really don't know what to say except that it is a sad commentary on the values and ethics of this generation. I mean, come on, he used just as much energy destroying the thing and then cleaning up his mess (assuming he bothered) as he would have carrying it down two lousy flights of stairs. And let's not forget the light fixture - hope he pulls the fuse first

Hell, I'm 5'4" and I carried two bedroom sets, a rocking chair and two tables (all solid wood) down twelve flights of stairs after Katrina because someone was kind enough to give them to me.

So I assumed the worst and replied, "Please forgive me - I was not aware of your physical limitations. Two flights of stairs would be pushing it for someone in your condition." Now, physical or mental, that's debatable.

The only thing stupider was that he figured it would be a good idea to preserve this moment on videotape and share with the world via the internet!

Had this tool not disabled comments, that's approximately what I would have posted.

...and yes, I was disappointed he didn't nail the CRT head on and receive a glass-shower.
