I got my nixie tube clock kit, pretty cool little item. I started to build it and got to the point where I need to test the power supply. The power to it is supposed to be AC through one of those heavy plug in wall adapters that is pretty much a stepdown transformer. The output voltage parameters are 12VACand 9 to 12 VAC out of the adapter. The one I thought I was going to use turns out to be 12VDC, now I am screwed! I looked some around town and cannot find one that will work. I have a ton of these around the house but of course not the right one! Is there an easy way to build a circuit that I can put on a small separate board and wire it point to point? Theres not much that I could find to order online without paying a fortune for it. One company does have a cheap listing but are out of stock.
