BUSH AC valve radio

This is a very common valve radio here in the U.K. Its a Bush AC 34. The 34 was the AM version, and the 54 was the AM/FM model, which also had an EM80 type magic eye fitted in the speaker grille as well. The chassis was in use between 1949 and 1955. It used the UL range of minature valves. They have window-rattling volume and bass--REAL bass!!
