That cabinet's in much better shape than mine was, but every knob is wrong. Their photo reinforces my guess that I'm missing a clear cover for the tuning dial. Their price is insane (duh).
By coincidence, a few days ago I got the cabinet back from the refinisher and updated my article ( http://antiqueradio.org/DuMontRA-103Television.htm ). Haven't figured out yet where to put it, but it's sure fun to watch. Phil Nelson

That's the original cloth, which amazingly didn't get moldy during the years when it sat in a damp garage and the cabinet half sprung itself to pieces. I just brushed out the dust with a soft children's toothbrush.
I did grayscale the screen image part, which always comes out blue with my camera. I need to look up the camera manual online and figure out how to change the light (correction?) settings. Phil |
