It appears that there is a "window" in the halo-light for viewing the channel numbers. Was that a common arrangement in later years...Or perhaps in high-end models? I have not seen one with that feature before.

Yep, I wonder what he wants or wanted for it? I'm glad the one I had worked out well for you, she still runnin' good? I really like the style of this one but it's just bad timing to try and get sets right now. I hope someone here gets it.

I think it needs a new picture tube, I can't get a bright picture out of it to save my life! The Halolight is capable of washing out the picture at least twice over, it's that bad. Then again, I'm not versed in all the adjustments so I could still have it set wrong. I think if it had a new tube, it would probably work pretty well. Got a rejuvinator I could borrow?
