If you decide to take it, have the seller close the TV up inside a large plastic bag and fumigate it thoroughly to kill the bugs. Then it may be possible to save the cabinet by injecting an epoxy or some other plastic filler into the wood, over and over again. You might have to investigate on line to see what sorts of products are available. It would no doubt be a daunting task but only you know if you want to go that far. If the bugs ate through the outside finish it could be reveneered but I'll bet they confined themselves to the interior, not liking the taste of lacquer.
