Raytheon 10DX24 on eBay
Price is high and a reserve to boot.
Hard to find Channel knob is missing Looks like that "original mellow gloss" may have been helped out a bit with some fine Steel Wool but the chassis looks pristine and it is in nice shape. They say they don't know how to turn it on yet there is a picture of it working?? http://cgi.ebay.com/1948-BELMONT-RAY...item4aa05e6bcf "The television will be sent by UPS Ground" Ugh

That picture is from another set

Bad refinnishing job on case. Wrong color, too.
That's not a Raytheon chassis. Way over priced! Argh! Bill Cahill

The chassis is correct for the set, I believe it was made by Stewart Warner for Raytheon, or Raytheon made them for Stewart Warner.
I have a SW Mirror in lid set with the same chassis, it has an rf high voltage supply and a bizarre tuner. I rebuilt one of these a couple years ago and they are a neat set, I think the price is too high but on eBay anything is possible. These probably are fairly scarce. |

I personally wouldn't use a screen cap from another set under any circumstances, but the one they posted is really, really bad...so it doesn't exactly give one the false impression that this set is *restored*.
