Raytheon 10DX24 on eBay

Price is high and a reserve to boot.
Hard to find Channel knob is missing

Looks like that "original mellow gloss" may have been helped out a bit with some fine Steel Wool but the chassis looks pristine and it is in nice shape.

They say they don't know how to turn it on yet there is a picture of it working??

That picture is from another set "The photo of the TV in operation was taken from one of the sites with information on the Belmont porthole television."

Bad refinnishing job on case. Wrong color, too.
That's not a Raytheon chassis.
Way over priced! Argh!

The chassis is correct for the set, I believe it was made by Stewart Warner for Raytheon, or Raytheon made them for Stewart Warner.

I have a SW Mirror in lid set with the same chassis, it has an rf high voltage supply and a bizarre tuner.

I rebuilt one of these a couple years ago and they are a neat set, I think the price is too high but on eBay anything is possible.

These probably are fairly scarce.

I personally wouldn't use a screen cap from another set under any circumstances, but the one they posted is really, really bad...so it doesn't exactly give one the false impression that this set is *restored*.
